Tichu Scoring Examples
Scoring feels complex until you see a few examples. These scenarios show how points are counted in common situations.
Standard Round Example
Team A wins 60 points in tricks and Team B wins 40. No Tichu calls were made. The score for the round is 60 to 40.
Tichu Call Example
A player calls Tichu and goes out first. Their team gains the usual card points plus 100 bonus points. If they fail, the team loses 100 instead.
Double Victory Example
Both partners on Team A go out first and second. Team A scores 200 points and the round ends immediately. Card points are not counted.
