Double Victory in Tichu
A double victory happens when both partners finish first and second. It is the most efficient way to score points and can end a round instantly.
What Counts as a Double Victory
If both partners go out first and second, the team scores 200 points and the round ends immediately. No card points are counted, and the opposing team scores zero for that round.
How to Set It Up
Control the lead and feed your partner playable combinations. Use the Dog to pass the lead at the right moment and avoid stealing your partner’s exit path with unnecessary tricks.
How to Defend Against It
Break the flow by winning a key trick, forcing single-card plays, or using a bomb to stop a clean run. Even finishing third can prevent the 200-point swing.
