First Game Checklist
Use this checklist to get through your first Tichu game confidently. Keep it nearby as a quick reminder of the flow.
Before You Start
Seat partners across from each other, shuffle the 56-card deck, and draw cards one at a time to 14. After the first 8 cards, decide on Grand Tichu.
During the Round
Pass three cards, let the Mah Jong lead, and follow or pass by playing higher combinations of the same type. Bombs can interrupt at any time.
After the Round
Count point cards, apply Tichu or Grand Tichu bonuses, and note any double victory. The first team to 1000 points wins.
